Signed David Hockney lower right and numbered from the small limited edition of 100 (there were also 27 artists proofs). Printed by Sukimoto & Fox at Gemini GEL Los Angeles. Referenced in Gemini 920 and published by Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo. With Gemini stamp to the reverse along with their reference DH80-948 in pencil.
In very good clean condition, with some conservation-standard tabs remaining to the reverse top corners of the sheet not affecting the front.
A truly beautiful and eye-catching David Hockney portrait that reveals the skill and quality of his line (it looks very like an original pencil drawing) and perfectly captures the spirit of this famous American beat writer and artist.
