Original pochoir (handmade stencil) on thick wove paper made for the Art Review  XXe Siècle No 12 in a limited UNsigned edition of 1500. Edited by San Lazzaro and hand created by atelier Daniel Jacomet, Paris. Printed to the edges of the sheet (as issued).

In very good condition with some barely noticeable bumping at the corners, and light signs of age on the reverse only. Please note that the slash is printed and not actually a cut in the paper.

With it's rich green colour, this is a rare gem of a print which emulates a painting due to the specialist technique used to make it. A perfect example of Fontana's 'slash' series featuring the illusion of slashes in a canvas, it is immediately recognisable as a Fontana work and is guaranteed to create a talking point in any interior!
