Original wood engraving on tissue-thin laid paper in its original Woodcut Society presentation folder with title cover, foreword by the artist and edition number from the limited edition of 200 on the reverse. Signed Robert Gibbings in pencil and initialed in the block lower right. Published by The Woodcut Society Kansas City, Missouri, with full margins. Provenance: from the John Taylor Arms collection with identifying stamp to bottom left corner, and annotated in his hand on the folder. Closed folder measures 410 x 300mm

In very good overall condition for age, noticeable stains with some associated rippling to top two corners where print is mounted to folder which can be covered by a mount if the buyer wishes to remove the print from the folder
