Corinne DAY Tania Colouring Her Hair  (1995)
C-type photograph mounted onto an aluminium sheet from the very small limited edition of 7. Titled, dated, numbered and signed and approved by Corinne Day in fascimile on the gallery label affixed to the reverse.
Provenance: Gimpel Fils Gallery. Literature: Michael Mack, Corinne Day - Diary, Kruse Verlag, Hamburg, Germany (2000), illustrated in colour.
In very good condition with the very occasional very tiny scuff mark in the ink. This print is mounted with a split baton and does not require a frame - looks fabulous on the wall!
Famous for her 1990 photographs of a young Kate Moss, Corinne Day proceeded to spend the 90s photographing the everyday lives of her close friends in London squats, the intensely personal photographs drawing a comparison with artists such as Nan Goldin and Larry Clark. Diary is a series of candid and astonishingly intimate portraits of her close group of friends from this decade.
