In the 1960s through to the 70s the British Pop artist Joe Tilson created a series of prints, multiples and editions called 'Transparencies'. They vary from small images of Gagarin and Che Guevara, to medium sized screenprints such as Clip O Matic Lips and Empire State Building. This is one of the few prints in the series that is simply a screenprint on paper - the others are multi-layer or are incased in plastic
