Sometimes mistakenly confused with VB Rouge or Gaia, Holm from 1988 is an original colour screen print on cream wove paper. Signed Vasarely in pencil lower right and numbered from the limited edition of 250 lower left (there were also 25 artists proofs numbered in Roman Numerals). Referenced in Vasarely's Catalogue Raisonne of Printed Editions 1949-1991 by Benavides & Vasarely, 1052 (p244).

One of the leading representatives of geometric abstraction, a precursor to 'Op Art' - art using optical illusions - Vasarely had, since the 1950s, referred to his abstract work as 'kinetic art', trying to create the impression of movement through the effects he used.
