Signed David Hockney in pencil and dated '75, one of 25 un-numbered artist's proofs aside from the main edition of 200. Published by Studio Bruckmann, Munich and printed by Aldo Crommelynck, Paris with their blindstamp lower left. Referenced in Scottish Arts Council 173

In Homage to Michelangelo, the words 'in the room' and 'THE WOMEN come and go talking of Michelangelo' are from T S Eliot's 'The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock'. These words are interspersed with reproductions of drawings by Michelangelo from the British Museum collection
