Charles MACKIE On the Rocks  (1900)

Original woodcut in colours on very fine, almost tissue-thin paper. Signed in pencil Charles Mackie del et imp, no 40 from an unknown, probably small, limited edition. Titled in pencil in upper margin, unfortunately unreadable (...'rocks'?). Exact date unknown, but most likely between 1890 and 1910 With some abrasion to the paper in the top margin, creasing in margins and with some light discolouration around image, but colours are still bright and will frame up very nicely. We can find no other copy of this print - an extremely rare and beautiful image
