Salvador DALI All's Well that End's Well  (1971)
All's Well that End's Well an original drypoint etching with colour on BFK Rives France watermarked wove paper, boldly hand-signed in pencil in the lower right margin, an EA/Epreuve d'Artist/Artist's Proof aside from the limited edition of 450 (250 on Japon paper with 25 proofs and 200 on BFK with 25 proofs) from the 1971 suite of 16 etchings Much Ado about Shakespeare II. Published by Editions Graphiques Internationales and printed by Atelier Rigal, Paris. Referenced in Michler & Löpsinger, 397. Plate size: 178mm x 127mm.
In excellent bright and fresh condition and never framed, with very minimal signs of handling at the far sheet edges. A really fun little original, signed Salvador Dali print at a sensible price.
Shakespeare plays are suited to the deeply psychological works of the Surrealist mastermind and Dali frequently revisited them through illustration and stage design.
