Eduardo PAOLOZZI Unsigned Proof, Red  (1967)
Last one! Eyecatching untitled and UNsigned trial screenprint from the estate of Eduardo Paolozzi's former partner Christine Risley (1926-2003), artist and lecturer in Textiles at Central Saint Martin's School of Art, London. These trial prints explore geometric variations and patterns, and the circles, triangles, and other combinations of shapes can be seen in prints such as Illumination and the Eye (1967) and Theory of Relativity (1967) as well as many of the prints from the series Moonstrips Empire News (1967). It is also possible that these proofs were in preparation for the artist's collaboration with Wedgwood.
PLEASE NOTE these 'working' proofs are in POOR/FAIR condition, with noticeable handling creases, the occasional rub, scratch, marks and stains to the margins AND the image, sometimes soft/raggy sheet edges and may have nicks or tears to sheet edges (no longer than 3cm and well away from the image), but will mount and frame beautifully and are guaranteed to be a conversation point in any room. If you would like a more detailed, condition report, just contact us.
Suitable for rolling and will be shipped in a strong, wide shipping tube.
