An original lithograph in five colours with exact title unkown, depicting spectators at a football match or horse race (?). Signed and dated in pencil lower left and numbered lower right from the small edition of 20

In 'fair' condition with discolouration, mount burn at sheet edge near to the print, 3 small tears along the top edge, one triangular nick along bottom edge and a missing corner bottom left of the sheet. Colours are still strong and bright and this print will frame up nicely

An excellent example of Bernard Cheese' excellent draughtmanship depicting British community spirit in bold oranges and browns, and a rare early one from the 1950s, of which there are now few examples left
