Eduardo PAOLOZZI ZEEP : 6228  (1970)

6228 : Plus: Cry on My Shoulder, No Sad Songs, etc, Number 3 from the ZEEP (Zero Energy Experimental Pile) portfolio of six prints, a screenprint in colours on Astrolux paper laminated to a clear acrylic sheet (as issued). Signed Eduardo Paolozzi on the acrylic in black felt pen, and dated and numbered from the limited edition of 100. Printed by Advanced Graphics and published by Petersburg Press, London. Referenced in Miles, 59. Frame size: 890 x 635mm. Provenance: from William Weston Gallery, London, with label to reverse.

In very good condition. The high-quality frames have very occasional light surface scuffs commensurate with age, but still perfectly serviceable. A large, colourful, rare and ultra-cool piece of original 1970s British Pop Art and a wonderful investment print by Modern British artist Eduardo Paolozzi.

We have the full ZEEP set of 6 framed prints (4 prints are 45/100 and 2 prints are 71/100)  which would look FANTASTIC hung together in a home or office space so we are tempting you with a 20% discount if you buy the whole set! Equally, 1 or 2 of these prints will make any room pop and provide a great talking point.

ZEEP plays with the tension between global serious themes such as the Cold War and the Space Race next to banal images of popular consumer culture
