Original lithograph in colours from Julian Trevelyan's Cambridge Suite (1959-1962). Printed in 3 versions in four colours, this being the turquoise & yellow version (the other versions are mauve & orange, and green & grey), signed Julian Trevelyan in pencil and numbered from the limited edition of 70 (Turner mistakenly gives the size of the edition as 75) with 25 artist's proofs. On handmade Whatman wove paper, printed by George Devenish and published by Paul Cornwall Jones. Referenced in Turner, 120. Image size: 532mm x 382mm.
In good condition with minor signs of handling well away from the image and will mount and frame beautifully. With full margins and strong, bright colours, this is a particularly charming, rare and early Trevelyan print. We love the addition of the lucky black cat!
